All of the information below can be found on our website, adriennekeystudio.com. Please read this document carefully before purchasing an item from our shop location or online store. We appreciate your business!
RETURN AND CANCELATION POLICY
ONLINE OR IN-STORE ART AND JEWELRY PURCHASES OF NON-CUSTOM ITEMS: You may submit a return or exchange request via email or through our website on the Contact page within 14 business days of receipt. The item must be unused and in its original condition, as determined by owner, Adrienne Krieger, in order to qualify for a return or exchange. A copy of your receipt will be required. We will not approve a return or exchange without proof of purchase. Once we receive notification of your request we will email you the shipping information and best practices for shipping the item back. Once we have received your item we will process it for review and notify you if your item qualifies for a return or exchange. If you qualify for a return you will receive a refund to the credit card used to make the purchase. If you paid with check, a check will be sent to you with your refund. Refunds may take up to 2 weeks. If you do not receive your credit card refund within this time, please contact your bank to check on the progress of your refund.
DECLINED RETURN: In the event that you do not qualify for a return or exchange, we will send you an email, including documented photographs of your item, and an explanation as to why we are denying your request. We must receive confirmation from you that you have received our notice within seven days. Once we have received your confirmation, we will return your item back to you. If you do not respond within seven days of our notice, the item will become company property and you will forfeit all rights to the merchandise.
COMMISSIONS
There are no refunds or returns on commissioned items.
CANCELATION OF A CUSTOM DESIGN OR CUSTOMIZED ONLINE ORDER MID WAY: Once a client has started a job with us and has paid their deposit, it is possible to cancel your order at any time for any reason. In the event that a custom order is canceled, the customer will be charged for all materials used to that point and labor at a rate of $100.00 per hour, for the amount of labored hours on the job up to the point of cancellation. Labor includes: time spent consulting with the client, time spent sketching ideas for the client, time invested in CAD image rendering, cost of fees for models, cost of fees for casting, cost for any materials used during the fabrication process that have already been used for the project.
Our staff will assess the number of hours that have gone into the custom order at that time and the materials already used. We will then come up with a total for labor and materials to that point and credit you back the rest of your deposit or payment. The remainder of the deposit will be returned to the customer via credit card or check in the mail. A check may be picked up with a set up appointment. If we mail a check, please allow up to 10 business days for delivery. At this time, the items will be returned to you, the client, in whatever stage it has been stopped for you to keep. In the event that we are further along in the process then you have paid for, we will charge the assessed balance and after payment, the custom item will be returned to you in whatever stage of the process it was stopped. If you do not pick up your canceled custom item in the stage that it was stopped in within 6 months, the item will become property of Everling Jewelry Inc., DBA Adrienne Key Studio and you will forfeit all rights to the merchandise and the materials.
SALES TAX
Because Everling Jewelry Inc., DBA Adrienne Key Studio is headquartered in the state of Washington, state residents will be charged sales tax on all purchased items. Orders shipped outside the state of Washington are exempt at this time. Everling Jewelry Inc., DBA Adrienne Key Studio operates under Washington state laws.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
SHIPPING: Our products ship via USPS, UPS or FedEx with a tracking number provided. If you have special shipping instructions, please advise us prior to shipping so your items arrive to you in time! All online purchases can take 3-7 days to process before shipping.
DELIVERY DAMAGE: If a package delivered to you arrives damaged or opened, please refuse the shipment and call us immediately at (206) 370-9545. Claims for damaged or missing items must be submitted within two days of receipt of your order.
PREPARING AN ITEM FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE SHIPPING: Once we receive notice of your return or exchange request, we will provide you, via email, with instructions for best practices when shipping an item back. Adrienne Key Studio is not responsible for lost or damaged returned shipments.
WARRANTIES
ART AND JEWELRY WARRANTY: Everling Jewelry Inc., DBA Adrienne Key Studio warranties our manufacturing and craftsmanship for the first year of the piece. We do not warranty any wear and tear, whether that is normal everyday use or hard wear and tear. It is up to you the client to keep artworks out of direct sunlight and UV exposure.
CLIENT DISPUTES
We appreciate your business and our client’s satisfaction is our priority. If you have an issue with an order, we will work with you to resolve that issue within 7-10 business days based on the terms listed in this policies document. If a dispute arises that cannot be settled between our two parties, all mediation, arbitration, and/or court hearings shall take place in Seattle, Washington.
