Free-forming ideas on paper
Because I work in such a large variety of materials, I have found that sitting quietly with my pens, paper, and an open mind for inspiration, I can allow ideas to flow through my hands quickly and naturally. Sometimes the sheer scale or immense details of my work can feel slow. In contrast, paper is quick and, in many ways, surprising. When I sit down with my markers and watercolors, I am always excited about the colors and forms that appear on the page.
It was my first inclination to keep these sketches to myself for future ideas and inspiration, but not necessarily as finished work. I would hang them around my studio to help inform my other larger work. And then it hit me. Why wouldn't I share these too? They are exciting and fun in their own rite and deserve to be enjoyed.

How to display your new art
These original artworks art so easy to frame and can be displayed in a variety of ways. 9x12 inches is a common frame size that doesn't require custom framing. These pieces look great displayed in clusters together, as part of multi media collage walls, or alone. Really, the number of works depends on the size of your wall and your space.
